Reflection

"Why do you do what you do? Whose life are you affecting? Sometimes it’s not our target audience that we impact most. Sometimes it’s the bus drivers of the world."

When I read this on our daily bread this morning, I stopped to think. Instead of being influenced by others, I need to do the opposite. Ah, I need to start reading again. I guess I have forgotten what it's like to be submerged in that environment of encouragement, kindness, and love that I become cynical and impatient.

Maybe I'm the one who needs to create that environment. It was good to meet some old Hope Brisbane friends here again. It really was.
