Fate?

Looking at the bitterness, hurt and shame
When you think of it, who was to blame?
Trying hard to think but nothing comes to mind
Or maybe I was just too hurt, too hurt to want to find

The answers I thought I knew
Soon became a blur because the questions grew
Was it really anyone's fault or was there something more
A lesson to be learnt, maybe that was all
