HONG KONG DISNEYLAND
as u all know by now (i think) that HK's Disneyland is opening soon...to commemorate the event, Disney came up with this HK Disneyland CD thing. The fav disney songs from their cartoons such as "A Little Mermaid", "Aladdin", "Mulan" and many more were changed into either mandarin or catonese songs. 2 words - It SUCKS!
can u imagine Jolin Tsai Yi Ling singing the mandarin version of "Under the Sea"? or maybe Kelly Chen with a canto version of "Reflections" from Mulan or maybe "A Whole New World" (Aladdin) by Eason Chan. It's just terrible! Songs like that aren't meant to be changed from their original and sound nice u know?! And the song list doesn't end there. There is "The Lion King", "Pocahontas", "Beauty & The Beast" and some other new songs which i dare not d/load after listening to the 3 songs above.
anyway enough ranting from me...maybe the other songs sound nicer la!
p/s: Nicholas Teo and Z-Chen have new albums...looking forward to it! =)
