out of desperation, i bought myself a puny fan that its size is as big as my palm and it cost me a whopping 12 dollars for that size and capability.

Somewhat what jess said it's true. It was all out of desperation. Both Sherlynn and I were desperately trying to get a fan that would solve our heaty day woes. And yet, as time running against us and shops closing down punctually at 5pm, we managed only to get this pathetic fan.

Often times, we do things out of desperation, we think it's running out of time, we feel something had to be done or we think it's not going smoothly. It's true isn't it? How things always have a certain time frame, a certain procedures. I've failed to realised that God is moving amongst all these.

Action out of desperation is an expression of how much we are willing to give god control over our situations. Take the house searching for example, we've been desperately looking for 5 bedroom house to fit the 5 of us and one by one, the houses we applied are rejected. and before today, we were humbled by the sight of one of the houses. We weren't so much looking for a posh house that has intercom anymore. Instead, we were looking at just a house that can fit 5 person.. our criteria changed. God humbled us all through all these.

Then walah! out of no where, the first house we've applied appear for lease again. How humourous our god can be? the application that was rejected and we thought the house was leased. now, a month later, it's back online. back for lease

it's just before we wanted to apply for the recent house that we saw, this site is up. How good can god be? The house we saw 2 days ago was a sight never to be forgotten. It can be sum up in 2 words : PIG STY. we nearly wanted to apply for it out of desperation, fearing that we might not get accomodation when our current lease end.

now, we are going to apply for the first house again.

moral of the story? wait and trust that God will provide the best. the first house might not be where God wants us to stay but nevertheless, the main important issue still stands.

God provides. all we need to do is just wait.

disclaimer: when i say wait. please don't just wait. Do something such as look for houses. Don't expect God to drop a house from heaven. but wait on Him.

well what do u think?

i have been really wanting something and have been questioning God about it...The sermon last sunday kinda spoke to me and made me realised what i wanted wasn't really all that important after all (this post encouraged me further)...The burden of those thoughts lifted from me in a way and i have found the path God gave me and am ready to do my best...I've been slacking too much...my results are bad~ I aim for A's this semester for all my subjects and i will do my best in everything. Wish me all the best!
